Having electrical problems with my Audi Quattro after a deer ripped off the drivers side review mirror?

I have a 1999 Audi Quattro A6 and last month a deer ripped off the drivers side review mirror the repairs have been done mirror replaced but now my battery won’t charge could there be a problem with my electrical ? If so can someone help me troubleshoot so I can find the problem?

      Alternator or battery is bad. Needs to be checked by a mechanic to determine which is bad,
