I have a 96 audi a4 2.8 quattro. Its got 97,000 miles and i think the clutch is going. Would it be to hard for me to try and replace it myself? Can someone please give me instructions how to do it or tell me how much it should be to be relapaced?

Dont know how much it would be to have it fixed, but if you have to ask for directions on how to do it, I wouldnt attempt it! Lots and Lots of moving parts in a tranny.
If you have never replaced a clutch before you should not try it on this foreign car without a manual and a friend who has done a clutch before.I would think it is similar to most American cars but don’t know for sure.Good luck.
The web will not help you in fact probably hurt your transmission.
