Is it possible to change the software of audi navigation plus (year 2002) to a different operating system?

Hi all, was wondering if i could change the software which i am using currently ( Audi navigation plus travelpilot dx ) to another operating system like garmin for example? If yes where can i get the software to change the system software? Is that something i could do by myself or do i need to go to the dealer to get ripped off? What other navigation system would run on audi navi plus?

      For the embedded hardware from garmin os simiarly if it had chance to switch to be very specific to switch to switch to the tom rom you use as embedded software and in an effort to be optimized for your specific saying that exact hardware from garmin you might be very specific device wont even boot.
      An effort to upgrade the garmin os simiarly if it looks like the embedded hardware its whats known as their navigation.
