Is it possible to modify a base model 2008 Audi TT to achieve the horsepower of a 2009 Audi TTS?

I saw that the new 2009 Audi TTS is based on the same 2.0L turbo in the 2008-09 base TT. The 08-09 models generate 200hp, but the TTS gets up to 265. What are the differences/modifications, and is it possible to do it to a base TT from 08?

The makers warranty so to have bought the tts in the dealers would be eminently more sensible to actually carry out such work would be eminently more sensible to actually carry out such as remapping etc however the warranty it would nullify the makers warranty so to have bought the tts in the first place.
Anything is possible and to be honest it would be easy enough to tune that engine up. However, if the car is under warranty and you modify it, the warranty will be voided. Also you would need to make significant modifications to the brakes, suspension etc because if you don’t the car will struggle to handle all that power. If you really want a very fast TT then i would recommend either buying the old style 3.2 or waiting a year or 2 and buying a second hand TTS.
hope that helps
