Open Question: Which car is the best?
Okay, I’m going to be 16 in April and a car is one of my main prioritys. My mother and are willing to put down at the most $11000 in all for my first car.( I told them I’d work for a whole year to pay for some the car and insurance) I’ve narrowed my choices down to 5 cars that I would want.
P.S. My parents will only get me a car once I fully know how to drive so please don’t tell me to get a crap car for my first car cause ill wreck it, because I won’t ill treat it like a newborn baby(:
1. 2006 Volkswagen GTI. I think its a pretty cool car. Pretty fast. And I love the hatchback. I heard the reliability isnt the best but from what I’ve have read up about it, its a pretty good car overall!
2. 04 or 05 Volvo s40. I think its a pretty slim looking design for a sedan and the engines good so its pretty quick on its feet. Ive read they are reliable and are VERY SAFE and my mom really supports me getting a safe car for my first car. I have read that the repairs are very expensive which may be a problem but maybe not. I’m not too sure.
3. 04 or 05 Audi a4. This car is SO sexy. My friend has one and I can’t get enough of it. There not too expensive used but I’ve heard that repairs and insurance are a lot. I honesty love this car it looks new even when its 5 years old. It’s also fast.
4. 05 or 06 Subaru WRX. I’ve read that their tanks and are very reliable. They are a bit expensive but repairs and insurance won’t be as bad as an Audi or volvo. They are also good looking and pretty fast.
5. 06 or 07 Mazda 3, its a pretty nice car for Japanese made(nothing against the japanese) and they have a nice high tech looking exterior. They are also pretty fast.
Which 2 of these 5 cars would be the best option? Could use please give specific examples like price, safety, speed, reliability, cost..etc.
Please help this is one of the hardest descisions of my life and answers are greatly appreciated(:

asked: Im not the best with engines or anything but i wanna learn more and get into it more. But my audi is a 4 cylinder turbo automatic and its doesnt have very good acceleration. Ive heard an air intake system would be good and i was wondering if i could make it a twin turbo somehow. Anyways just tell me what you think and what would increase acceleration and horsepower and maybe give me a link or something to check some out.

Open Question: Even if I have bad grades in high school, can I…?
…still become an RN?
I am currently a Junior in high school, and I’m worried about my future.
Since my Freshman year, my grades have been very poor. I usually have only one (or two) A’s, and they are in Chinese and Art III. The others are usually C’s, or D’s, or… F’s.
This year, I’ve seen what a mess I’ve made for myself when I want to go to college, and I’m freaking out. I don’t want to go to a community college. I have a dream for having a great house and Audi by the time I have kids, but I’m scared I’ll never be able to get there.
Basically, will I be accepted because of my poor grades? Will I be able to get a well or very-well paying job as an RN?
After I become an RN, I would like to become a Midwife. I’ve seen they earn from about $35k — $90k. I would love to be able to get the higher-paying end.
Are my hopes a joke or reachable?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I feel terrified that I won’t be able to meet my goals in life. Thank you!
